Description
Bronze statue of Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924), the Italian composer of some of the most well known & popular operas including La Boheme, Madam Butterfly and Turandot. The statue was created in 1993-4 by the Tuscan sculptor Vito Tongiani. It is located in Lucca, in front of the Puccini family house where he was born and spent his early life.
