Description
MODEL RELEASED. Botox treatment, anti-wrinkle treatment. Patient having botox injected into their face. Botox is a neurotoxin used for cosmetic purposes. The toxin is obtained from the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. This bacterium causes botulism, a form of bacterial food poisoning. Small, safe amounts of botox are injected into facial muscles, paralysing the muscles and smoothing wrinkles. One treatment can last for between three to six months. The white marks on the skin are from the use of hyaluronic acid as a dermal filler to smooth wrinkles.
