Description
Boat in a dry dock. Dry docks are used to build and maintain boats. A dry dock, or 'graving dock' is an artificial enclosure excavated in the shore. The boat enters the dock when it is full of water and this is then pumped away, leaving the dock dry. Photographed at the Port of Ghent, Belgium.
