Description
Blue Origin's Space Vehicle testing. Wind tunnel testing on a model of the innovative bi-conic Space Vehicle spacecraft being developed by the Blue Origin company. The testing is taking place at Lockheed Martin's High Speed Wind Tunnel Facility in Dallas, Texas, USA. In 2011, NASA selected Blue Origin during Commercial Crew Development Round 2 (CCDev2) for NASA's Commercial Crew Program (CCP). CCP is aimed at developing a commercial crew transportation system to allow resumption of space flights by the USA to the International Space Station (ISS). Photographed in April 2012. For a computational fluid dynamics wind tunnel graphic, see C023/3107.
