Big Ben clock face, Westminster, London, UK. The main bell housed within the clock tower is called 'Big Ben'. The tower was built by Charles Barry, but the clock face was designed by Augustus Pugin. The clock tower is 61 metres high and became fully operational on 7 September 1859.
