Description
Sea defences. Beach with a sea wall being built off-shore. The rig (at centre) is placing granite boulders onto a man-made reef. The vehicle at bottom centre is amphibious, being able to travel on land or water, and is used to carry construction materials and equipment. The reef will break the force of the waves coming in from the sea. It will also disrupt the sea currents which carry sediment away from the coast. Photographed between Sea Palling and Happisburg in Norfolk, Great Britain.
