Bamburgh Castle. This castle is situated on a basalt outcrop on the Northumbrian coast, England. The castle was first constructed in the 11th century by the Normans. It has since been renovated and restored several times, first by Lord Crewe in the 1750s and more recently by the first Lord Armstrong in the late 19th century.
