Baby pilot whale (Globicephala macrorynchus). When born, a pilot whale weighs around 100 kilograms. It feeds on its mother's milk, and then feeds on squid. It can reach a length of 5 metres and weigh 1.5 tons, living for around 45 to 60 years. Photographed in the Gulf of California.
