Description
MODEL RELEASED: Automated reading of electrophoresis gels. A researcher at the terminal of a computer used to analyse biological samples. The sample has been sequenced using gel electrophoresis. An autoradiograph was then made from the gel. This computer analyses the autoradiograph, determining the identity and concentration of each fragment by its position on the autoradiograph and the density of its image. A short sequence of fragments may then be displayed on the screen for more detailed analysis. The study in progess here is the inhibition of Protein Kinase C in human platelets.
