Artist's Description

Atomium, Brussels, Belgium. The Atomium was designed by architect Andre Waterkeyn for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. The steel structure is 103 metres in height and represents a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. The Atomium was originally only built to last for six months, but has now become a popular tourist attraction. Panoramic views of Brussels can be enjoyed inside the spheres.
