Description
Atmospheric pollution modelling. Researchers using a water tank to study the environmental impact of pollutants and other materials (green) from an urban power station. Substances carried on the thermal plume include gas, dust, aerosols and odours. This study will allow the height of the power station's chimney to be modified. The blocks represent apartment buildings, and the space between them an avenue. This scale model was built at CERG (the Study and Research Centre of Grenoble), in Grenoble, France.
