Description
Ariane 5 helium tank production. Technicians assembling helium tanks for the Ariane 5 rocket. These spherical tanks are covered with orange kevlar fibre. They will each hold 300 litres of pressurised liquid helium. The tanks supply pressure to the propellant tanks and compensate for the pressure decrease as the propellant tanks empty during lift off.
