Description
Archaeopteryx dinosaur. Artwork of an Archaeopteryx, the first bird, which resembled a flying reptile with feathers. This small animal lived in the late Jurassic period of around 130 million years ago. Archaeopteryx, seen as the link between reptiles and birds, had many of the features of a small dinosaur with the addition of feathers and combined reptilian and bird-like claws on its wings. It was about the size of a crow.
