Description
Apollo 17 Lunar Atmospheric Composition Experiment (LACE) deployed on the surface of the Moon. LACE was a miniature magnetic deflection mass spectrometer used to measure the composition and variations in the lunar atmosphere. The Apollo 17 mission was the last Photographed on the 12th December 1972.
