Adenosine monophosphate. Molecular model of the nucleic acid subunit adenosine monophosphate (AMP, C10.H14.N5.O7.P). This nucelotide occurs in ribonucleic acid (RNA), and is formed of a phosphate group, the sugar ribose, and the nucleobase adenine. Atoms are represented as spheres and are colour-coded: carbon (grey), hydrogen (white), nitrogen (blue), oxygen (red) and phosphorus (yellow).
