Abnormal oesophagus cells. Endoscopic view of a patch of abnormal oesophagus cells (oesophageal inlet patch) in the upper part of the oesophagus (gullet). These heterotopic gastric mucosa cells, normally found lower down in the stomach, can indicate a number of disorders.
