Textile mill warping creel. Worker operating a warping creel, a machine that gathers up strands of yarn (240 strands here) that will later be woven into cloth on a loom. Photographed at the the Amana Woolen Mill, Amana, Iowa, USA. This mill is one of the enterprises started when German immigrants established the communal Amana Colonies in 1855. Photographed in 2012.
