Hurricane Michael aftermath. Trees blown over along Mexico Beach, Florida, USA, seven months after Hurricane Michael hit. Hurricane Michael was the first Category 5 hurricane to strike the contiguous United States since Andrew in 1992. It made landfall near Mexico Beach on 10th October 2018, with peak winds of 160 mph (260 kph).
