Description
Light spectrum. View of a spectrum of light. Light consists of many different wavelengths of light, which are seen individually as separate colours, but together appear white. If light is refracted (bent), by passing it through a glass prism for example, each of the wavelengths bends by a different amount to reveal the separate colours.
