Description
Leopard (Panthera pardus). This big cat hunts small prey such as antelopes and hares primarily by stealth. It stalks its prey and creeps up to within a few metres before pouncing. The leopard moves with agility in trees and will often drag its kill up into the branches before feeding. Photographed in the Vumbura area of the Okavango Delta, Botswana.
