Volunteer repairing a house damaged in the 2008 Iowa flood. Heavy rainfall caused most of the rivers in eastern Iowa, USA, to burst their banks in June 2008. The Cedar River swelled to nearly 9.5 metres higher than normal, damaging more than 6000 homes and businesses in Cedar Rapids. Photographed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA.
