Oranges growing in the Peloponnese, Greece. All citrus trees belong to the single genus Citrus which includes grapefruits, lemons, limes, oranges, and various other types and hybrids. The orange is unknown in the wild state and it is believed that they were first cultivated in China around 2500 BC.
