Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The gas or ion" tail (blue) consists of ionized glowing gas blown away from the comet head by the solar wind. The dust tail (white) consists of grains of dust pushed away from the comet head by the radiation of sunlight. A comet's tail always points away from the Sun. Comets have a nucleus of ice and dust. As they approach the Sun their surface evaporates, releasing a tail that can be millions of kilometres long. Comet Hale-Bopp was discovered on 23 June 1995. Photographed on 4 April 1997 in Finland."
