Gallium. Sample of the element Gallium (Ga). Gallium is a soft post-transitional metal, with a melting point only slightly above room temperature. In nature it is only found in bauxite and zinc ores. It has many applications, including as a semiconductor, in thermometers and light emitting diodes.
