Description
Microscope. Computer artwork of a typical optical microscope with a digital camera attached for photography. Below the camera these are the two eyepieces (binocular) for viewing the specimen. The lens unit of the microscope (at centre) contains a selection of lenses that can be rotated for a choice of magnification. Under the lens unit is the specimen table. At bottom centre is the light box which supplies light upwards toward the specimen table. Between the light source and the specimen table are various filters to vary the amount and colour of illumination.
