Liver vein. Fluorescence deconvolution micrograph of a section through liver tissue around a central vein. These are the veins at the centre of a hepatic lobule. Cellular proteins are highlighted with fluorescent markers: g-actin (red), smooth muscle actin (green), and cell nuclei (blue). Magnification: x200 when printed at 10 centimetres across.
