Ketchup bottle. Early-20th-century bottle of tomato catsup (ketchup, tomato sauce) packaged in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. The ingredients list includes the food preservative benzoate of soda (sodium benzoate). The bottle has had a Food and Drug Inspection label applied by the US Bureau of Chemistry. Photographed in 1909.
