Artist's Description
ISS spacewalk. Astronaut photograph of Russian cosmonaut Alexander Skvortsov (born 1966), Expedition 40 flight engineer, wearing a Russian Orlan spacesuit, during an extravehicular activity (EVA) on the International Space Station (ISS). During this five-hour 11-minute spacewalk, Skvortsov and cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev (not seen) deployed a small science satellite, retrieved and installed experiment packages and inspected components on the exterior of the orbital laboratory. Photographed on 18th August 2014.
