Ice Age animals. Computer illustration of animals in a scene set during the Pleistocene epoch (Ice Age, around 2.6 million to 11,700 years ago) in what is now Patagonia, Argentina. Seen here: Stegomastodon sp. (elephant-like, background), armadillo (Doedicurus sp., left), sabre-toothed cat (Smilodon sp., lower left), giant ground sloth (Megatherium sp., centre left), horses (Hippidion sp., centre) and Macrauchenia sp. (llama-like, bottom right).
