Space entrepreneur Elon Musk at a joint NASA-SpaceX press conference at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on 8 April 2016, following the successful launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex SLC40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station carrying a SpaceX Dragon supply capsule to the International Space station. The Falcon 9 launch vehicle was developed by Space Exploration Technologies Corp, which was founded by Elon Musk in 2002. Musk is also known for his Tesla electric vehicle company.
