Electric Car Charging #1 metal print by Ibm Research. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Electric car charging, IBM research. Demonstration of an electric car dashboard plug-in for Project EDISON. The EDISON research consortium (Electric Vehicles in a Distributed and Integrated Market using Sustainable Energy and Open Networks) aims to build a smart power grid for electric cars. It is based on an island off the coast of Denmark, using wind energy and electric vehicles. Photographed in March 2010, at CeBit 2010, in Hanover, Germany.
