CHASTE BERRY (Vitex agnus-castus). Agnus-castus is associated with chastity in folklore and was once given to monks to suppress their libido. It is used in herbal medicine for regulating hormonal levels and to promote lactation in women. It is also believed to help with menstrual and menopausal complaints.
